Harmony Project was founded in Columbus, Ohio, in 2009 by musician and community-builder David Brown, who believed singing could bridge social divides. Beginning with a 100-member community chorus, Harmony expanded into Ohio’s prisons, where incarcerated men and women sing together, building connection, responsibility, dignity and hope through music.
